The event spans two days and concludes with the finals on Thursday.

The Scripps National Spelling Bee showcases the skills of talented young spellers.

The National Spelling Bee finals will be broadcast live on Thursday from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.

The finals will be aired on ION and Bounce, both owned by the E.W. Scripps Company.
