The white princess gown was embellished with pearls from top to bottom, with a scooped neckline, voluminous skirt, and long train.

Bhatt drew inspiration from the final bridal look of Chanel's Autumn-Winter 1992 Couture collection, famously worn by Claudia Schiffer.

She added her unique touch with a custom-made white fingerless glove by Indian brand Outhouse Jewellery, reminiscent of Lagerfeld's signature style.

The ensemble paid homage to Lagerfeld's love for pearls and was the perfect embodiment of the Met Gala theme, "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion."
